The project was initiated with our eager to own a piece of shade on the vast grasslands of the golf course in Pattaya. Through the building processes of this lightweight shelter, we would understand all that are at the core of sustainability - how structure reacts to sun, wind, water, fire and living creatures through time. We are proposing a lightweight structure that is 9~15 meters wide and 7~10 meters high. The canopy consists of an upper surface and a lower surface that would shade away the sunlight and move in motion when wind and water permeate through. The surfaces are considered to be made with fabric that could sensitively capture the shade of light from the environment. The lower surface are thought to be tied with LED sticks that determines the movement of the fabric and allows the surface to be hung away from the truss.
